Her debut novel, International Incident, became an Amazon bestseller, reaching the Top 15 in Romantic Suspense and the Top 55 in Contemporary Romance. It was selected as a finalist for the 2023 Audio in Color Award.

The second novel in the Crown & Heart series reached #1 in Black & African American Women’s Fiction, confirming readers’ enthusiasm for the royal universe she continues to expand. 

A lifelong lover of love stories, Nikki holds a BA in History and a Master’s in Social Work. She works in education by day, paddles with a dragon boat team of fellow breast cancer survivors, and belongs to a fabulous book club. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, a snarky teen, and a pair of spoiled feline overlords, and is rarely without an audiobook or podcast.
